I was perplexed by this experience.
Everyone should try it.
Choreographed windows, real-time compositing and many more features in this interactive interpretation of Arcade Fire’s song “We Used To Wait”

Inject extract

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

Herman Kolgen initiated the IN/JECT project in 2008 .
A human body is injected in a cistern. over the course of 45 minutes, the pressure of the liquid exerts upon him multiple neurosensorial transformations. From his epidermal fiber to his nervous system, he reacts to influxes of viscosity in this liquid chamber. his cortex, lacking oxygen, gradually loses all notions of the real. Like a human guinea pig: a matter-body whose psychological states are the object of kinetik tableaux, of singular temporal spaces.

Despair – Alex Prager

Friday, June 25th, 2010

A few weeks ago i posted some photos by Alex Prager.
She just made a new short film – “Despair” – starting Bryce Dallas Howard.
“1960s Los Angeles. Inside a phone booth stands a beautiful woman wearing the portentous femme fatale uniform of red lipstick and high heels. Bright and eerie, it’s picture-perfection.
In her first short film, LA-based photographer Alex Prager is going for pure, cinematic melodrama, hoping to catch just one emotion — Despair —”. – Nowness

Hope you enjoy it

From fake eye glasses, blond wigs, make-up excess, smoking, dreamy eyes and polka dot dresses, Alex Prager creates a playful world were nothing looks real except the feeling you get seeing their scared faces.
