I usually buy vintage oil flower paintings at flea markets , just for the frames that come with it, but when i see images like this one, makes me wonder if they would look good on the wall. In a dark brown or black wall, it actually looks kinda good.

Have you seen ‘A Single Man’ by Tom Ford?
For me, it flew right to the top of my favourite movies of all time.
A love story wrapped in visual extasy, style and perfect soundtrack. This is just a short resume, it’s more that this, more that words can describe, it goes straight to your heart ( not in corny way, if you know what i mean).
If you like mid century style, like i do, you’ll be amazed with George’s (Collin Firth) house, it is nothing but a dream house, and as far as i know, it’s for sale.

Já viram o filme “A Single Man” do Tom Ford?

This is part of Stratis Vogiatzis’s photographic work. Reminded me this photographer, i see some similarities, they share the same mood i guess. I love this kind of photos you can almost ‘feel’ the places.
A little bit about this project:
“Mastic Villages is a series of photographs by Stratis Vogiatzi dedicated to the villages of the Greek island of Chios, which is famous for the production of mastic, a resin obtained from the mastic tree known as the “tears of Chios (…) His photographic journey into the inner world of the Mastic Villages was not only a journey of images, colour and light. It was a journey into his own inner world; a world of memories”
“He was overwhelmed by the energy, peoples’ stories and by the objects’ souls. A meditative aspect was ascribed to the photographic procedure, as he remained in some houses for hours until the right moment for the right “click” arrived.”

“In Two Four Six Eight, I placed film extras in situations around a newly constructed section of architect Thom Mayne’s celebrated 2-4-6-8 House in Venice, California, originally built in 1978…” – Livia Corona.
Thom Mayne primary color palette and geometric construction lines were turn in to a game of “what can happen in here”.
